Clothing upcycling is a growing trend in green fashion, However there is no concrete effort to get women involved in upcycling practices despite the EU's commitment to the environment.
To tackle environmental challenges, it is vital for VET trainers and textile professionals to engage in an open dialogue that focuses on gender-based training.
The evolution of clothing upcycling is an innovative initiative aligned with EU goals on resource efficiency.
The objective
The purpose of the project is to raise awareness among textile professionals about the environmental and social benefits of clothing upcycling.
To meet this goal, we will use innovative training methods that better establish environmental sustainability pinpointing the different roles women play in eco-friendly activities.
The partners
AR4Reclothing is represented by partners with experience in developing, promoting, testing, and disseminating innovative training methods, tools, and products.
Of course, experts in Textile Manufacturing, e-learning developers and VET provisders are the backbone of the consortium!
Our teams are located in Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Latvia, Spain and Romania.
